Hmmm, if the '97 is anything like my '99 the O2s are located one in each
down pipe after the manifolds, and one before and one just after the cat.
The ones on the downpipe can be a pain to get to. They make O2 sensor
sockets, but they are pretty worthless for the ones on the downpipes.

I believe I have heard a "special tool" is needed to pull the sensors.

Can you please direct me to where in the devil they are? What do they look
like?
