Ok the job is now officially 50.001% complete.
Translation have removed the clutch, replaced the throw bearing but need
to go buy a tap to pull the pilot bearing.

Now for the disassembly rant!!!

1. What EEEEEDDDDDEEEEEEEOOOOOTTT at Chrysler decided that it would be
a good idea to weld nuts on in places where both sides are easily
accessible and not weld them where they are hard to get to? Had to
almost completely unbolt the front cab mounts and jack the cab way up to
get a socket on the upper tranny crossmember
nuts............................

B. Next moron award goes the jacka$$ who thought that the top of the
tranny on the driver's side was a good place for a bracket.

iii. How much exhaust pipe do you really need to prevent leaks? To
get the cat pipe out of the mid pipe I ended up cutting about 3/4" off
the mid pipe and beating and beating and beating some more. Had about
3" of engagement AFTER the removal of the 3/4"........

IV. Do the engineers @ Dodge have envy issues or are they following the
old adage "if you can't tie a knot tie a lot," what possible reason is
there to use a total of 6 bolts to hold the tranny to the engine? I
mean this is just a little V-6.......I mean a TH400 that can handle over
800hp only has 6.....

5. I forget what 5 was for.

f. Sad thing is the clutch that is being replaced probably had another
25k miles left in it, if not more. The surface of the pressure plate
still looks new.
