Shelbys do have electric fan mounted between the grille and radiator

   Now that you mention it, that triggered something in the recesses
of my brain - I think the Shelby Daks may have used an electric fan
also, because the lack of clearance caused by the GenI body and a V8
engine meant no room for a traditional clutch fan.
