That takes too long. Did that on my '99 when I did the ball joints on it.
Maybe it was because I was using a cordless drill, but it was a PITA. On my
'00 when I got it, I used the grinder method. About 5 minutes per control
arm and they were off.

cnter punch the center of the rivet, drill down aprox 1/4" with
3/16" drill and it'll wack right off with a chisel....

Yep, get a grinder and grind off the heads of the rivets then use a BFH to
knock the ball joint off. Fastest and easiest way.
