I agree with Ray...there is no need to remove the injector harness to remove
the valve covers - done that way too many times at the dealerships.

Bill, if you're dealing with a 3.9, 5.2 or 5.9 magnum I'm curious about two
things. Why do you feel you need to remove injector wiring to remove a
valve cover? Why do you feel you need to replace a valve cover gasket?

Reason I ask is I have a '92 5.2 Dak and have never needed to remove wiring
to access a valve cover. (push some out of the way perhaps, but not remove
or disconnect) Also, the stock magnum valve cover gaskets are reusable and,
aside from a bolt or two loosening up and resulting in a little seepage,
I've never had a gasket fail. Mine have also been reused numerous times
as I've made various mods over the years requiring valve cover removal.

Hate to see someone go to more trouble or expense than necessary. Hope this
helps.
