Excellent! I've been keeping an eye out for you but obviously
haven't turned anything up yet. I'm glad to hear you were able to
snag one. Speaking of the adapter, if you have the opportunity to
make a tracing, or stick the 360 TBI on a scanner or photocopier, I
would be interested in getting something that would show the bottom
profile which I could use to make a 360 version of the adapter.
Actually, if you didn't want to bother with modifying the adapter, if
you can get me something exact enough for me to create a 360 version,
I'd be happy to do so and trade you your 318 adapter for a 360
version. Anyhoo, just a thought there in case you are interested.

Sorry that I can't help with your other questions - I don't have
much experience with the TBI motors unfortunately. Swapping the
injectors makes sense though; I suspect it would make for a better
idle, at least. You might want to keep an eye on your air/fuel ratio
though, especially at WOT. I don't know how much bigger the 360 TBI
is, but if its big enough to let considerably more air in, you might
find yourself leaning out a bit with the 318 injectors. I suspect
this is probably not a problem unless the motor starts to get more
wild, especially given the rich mixture of the stock programming but
maybe something to keep in mind for the future or if you decide to
play with the fuel pressure at all.
