    Seems high to me too, but then again I'm a cheapskate. :-) I've
seen entire trucks selling for that sort of money. (Granted, not ones
in great condition...) ;-) Maybe if it is in pristine condition?
Even so, the Dak is not a particularly rare truck and lets face it,
most owners would scrap 'em and buy a new truck rather than put out
top dollar to restore, so it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense for a
salvage yard to put a premium on a Dak.

    I do know that metal scrap value is pretty decent right now, so
that's going to be your starting value. What that value is I'm not
sure, but if you were able to determine that and figure out the weight
of the frame or cab, you'd be able to guesstimate what sort of markup
you are dealing with.
