We're planning our next road trip in a few months, and this time we want
to take our bikes.

Does anyone have recs for ones you've used? Or even one for sale?

Ideally, it would hook in to the hitch hole in the bumper and swing out
of the way nicely to get in the back. Here is an example:

I am willing to finally get a hitch receiver if i need to.

Thanks!

I have a cheaper hang on the bumper rack, has a mount that is held down
using a hitch ball. It works, if I load the bike correctly, and include
a safety cable.......
Without the cable BAD things can happen, like dragging the bike behind
the truck for about a mile on the highway. Don't ask me how I know this,
it is documented on this list somewhere.

The mount on mine needed to be cut down to allow the tailgate to open. I
had to trim the top, drill new holes and I believe I trimmed and
redrilled the vertical part of the rack as well. Be careful of this as
you likely don't want to have to chop up a nice new rack, especially if
you drop 4 large on it.
