Short story: 12/22/10 Was out geocaching early in the AM, roads were
less than awesome, truck fishtailed on what I assume was black ice...
slid sideways into the center divided highway... at 50 mph... rolled
over and landed rubber down.
Cops showed up, tow truck showed up... $165 to haul the truck back to
the dudes shop. I hopped right back in the seat and drove it home and
then to work. Went in later in the afternoon to the ER to get checked out.
Some bumps and bruises but I'm virtually unscratched. The snow in the
median saved my neck. Literally.
Truck roof smashed in, no broken glass, doors don't shut quite right
(lots of wind noise) and the cab looks deformed. (Body gaps are all
tweaked)
I'm very fortunate and humble. By all rights I probably should have
been seriously injured or worse. This is a Christmas I'll never
forget... because I lived to see it!
On another note... I have a 2001 Dodge Ram up for sale - I'll give ya a
smashing deal on it! :-D
