Hey, I didn't buy them to look at them!! :)

Plus there needs to be some clarification here. The original engine lasted 193,000 before it got changed. The replacement got me another 50000 before I decided to go the 340 route. But this swap is solely elective, so it doesn't count! The 3.9 is still in great shape, just incase anyone needs one... Wink Wink!

On the 05, I got 140,000 on the original 4.7. And I know those engines go at around 175,000, So that puts the projected death date around November 2nd. So I'm just changing it before things hit the fan.

So really Tom, I'm just a little happy with the engine swaps... And it hasnt failed me yet... hasn't stranded me anywhere, hasn't caught me off guard, hasn't had a gun to my head at a dealer garage... I like that.

In closing, I'm driving my trucks with 140,000 miles + on both. And youre junking yours after 80,000??? Am I crazy for not thinking there's something wrong there??
