R&R for driveshaft?

I have a 2001 4x4 Dakota with a bad U joint on the rear driveshaft. Removal
doesn't look hard, just bolts on the flange for the rear diff. The front then
slips out of the transfer case. Should I expect any fluid loss when the slip
yoke is removed?
