Cool - glad to hear that it wasn't something major! Its a bit of a
bummer that Chrysler switched to stud mounted rockers during the
Magnum changeover - that certainly wouldn't have happened with a shaft
system. :-) Folks who build brand x race motors regularly convert
their stud mount rockers to shaft mounted, but for decades, Chrysler
used shaft mounted rockers in their stock engines, both big block and
small blocks. Yet another example of the over-engineering that
Chrysler was famous for. I assume the accountants eventually cut it
for cost reasons.
