Dakota Rolling Chassis??

I'm thinking about a Dakota rolling chassis as a donor to my 1941 Ford COE
project. The dimensions are about right *and* I've owned 3 Dakotas already,
why not another?

I know 2005 and up have fully boxed frames, were all the previous ones open
channel? Anyone got a rust free rolling chassis for sale on the East Coast?
