I had to replace my passenger-side hood spring hinge and now the hood won't
close. The old hinge broke the weld on the non-pivot arm up at the hood.
I put the new one on (and taking a hint from someone else... spray-painted
the silver hinge a blue to better match the truck. Apparently I either
spray-painted too much and froze the pivot points, or the hinge itself is
frozen.
When I went to close the hood, I now have a little pop-up where something
inside the hood is impacting the surface (the hood was actually folding
around the hinge).
What do I do now? The truck is in my parents garage and I can't pull it
out with the hood fully open... and I can't close it.
Anyone got hints? Please?
