I had a similar problem last summer. I would start and run the truck for 1
block ti 2 miles, without interruption, and then my radio ( first noticed)
along with the entire dashboard & engine would quit. Sometimes it would
restart within 1-2 seconds, but occasionally it would just die, and I would
hit the side of the road. after 1 to several minutes, it would start, and
usually continue OK for the rest of the day. This went on for about two
months, when I noticed that it hadn't occurred for some time. It hasn't
happened since, but those gremlins sometimes have a great deal of patience.
I'm still waiting......

Does anyone have the link for the wiring gremlin that lurks under the dash?
A splice point or something like that.
My 98 extended cab has intermittent electrical troubles. Heater/AC fan
going on and off, warning lights doing the same thing and what scares my
wife is when we find ourselves suddenly driving in the dark as my
headlights like to do the same thing.

Thanks for the info and help over the years. Too bad you all are too far
away for me to make any fun runs or anything. Lost and retired in North
Texas.....
