Mudflaps redux

About that question whether or not molded mudflaps would fit over the
SLT wheel well moldings...

I just bought a set of 3rd-party "semi-custom" (meaning they make about
4 styles that fit a variety of vehicles) molded flaps for my Dakota. I
have not installed them yet, but I did do some preliminary fitting. They
are stiff but flexible rubber, and seem to fit around the SLT moldings
pretty well. I will have to do some minor trimming to get them to fit
perfectly, but at $10/pair I'm willing to experiment (much better than
$40/pair as quoted from the dealer ;).

Installation package includes clips and screws, so I'm going to try the
no-drill clips in conjunction with the factory-installed screws first.
