Well, in spite of the new body styles on the way, I did it !
My new arrival:
AN5L31 - Super SLT 4x4 club coupe
25F - V8 / 22 Gal / Tach / etc...
AJL - Power / Overhead group (PW, PL, overhead console)
Z5B - 1800# Payload capacity
ADL - 4WD Protection Package
BGK - 4 Wheel Anti-lock brakes
DSA - Sure Grip Rear End
DMH - 3.90 axle ration
RBN - Casette / G.E. w/4 infinity speakers (wanted the CD,oh well)
J5 - Bucket seats
ADJ - Heavy Duty (include max cooling and heavy duty electrical)
AHC - Trailer Tow
DDC - 5 Speed Manual Trans.
GFD - Sliding rear window (I thought this was standard on SLT ?)
GPP - Electric bright mirrors
WJT - Predator wheels
Color - Flame Red (not my preference, but I'll live) w/quartz interior.
As you can see, about the only options I didn't get were the CD Player and
the automatic transmission. Whew!
I won't discuss what I paid, so I don't get buyers regret, but could use
your support saying I did the right thing (since I'm going to be broke for
a _long_ time :) )
Now on to my questions:
Here is what's on my shopping list, if you could help me out in any way
with advice (especially on the chip) I would appreciate it.
- MP Chip (how do I install / will it void warrantee / emmisions / what
kind of horspower/torque gains / will I like it ?)
- Hood Protector (J.C. Whitney vs. Mopar ?)
- Bed Liner (I'm looking for a really good buy, and I don't want rust to
build up under the liner)
- mud flaps (has anyone put a clean looking front and rear set on, or
tried the 'molded' units sold by JC Whitney ?)
- Tonnaue cover (I know there's a thread on this right now, but I need
easy-to-mail-order or local to Colorado)
- or - topper (what's the going rate for a flame-red topper)? Chances
of finding a used unit?
Other suggestions - comments ??
I didn't get the extended warrantee - will I regret it ?
Anyone want to make an offer on this truck, in case I get buyers remorse ?
