Yep! 318ci V8, 3.55 rear, club cab (short bed). Looks like maybe I
shoulda waited for the 97's though, eh? I didn't think Dodge was going
to ever offer the 360 in a Dakota... Bummer. Oh well, looks like I'm going
to have to breathe on my engine a bit if I want to keep up with the new
kids in town, hmmm? :-) I definitely can't afford to go buying a new
truck already. I've only had this one for 5 months or so... :-)
Maybe by the time I'm ready for another, they will have worked the
kinks out of the new ones. :-)

I'd bet that the reason Dodge is offering the 360 is because of the
rumors (or are they confirmed by now?) of Ford (and Chevy?) finally offering
a V8 with their mid-sizes? ("Duh, maybe them Dodge boys are on to
something?") Dodge probably wanted to do them one-up. They may offer
a V8, but probably nothing like the 360. :-)

Well, its late, and I think I'm rambling again. Sorry. :-)
