Sure-grip axle swap

Hi folks.

Does anyone have any information on the MP sure grip. I'm looking to
change my one legger to a 2 legger this spring. I thinking of one of
two options. I can buy the sure-grip unit from Chrysler new and install
it in the rear end. Or I happen to have a >10,000 mile Chrysler 9 1/4
complete rear (w/anti-lock) with sure grip out of a 93 full size. I was
thinking of having the axles and housing cut down to proper size. I'm
looking for some opinions out there on this. I know the 9 1/4 has a
larger 5 bolt pattern. I already have a set of front rotor, knuckle,
and 4 factory AL. rims so that I will install the larger 5 bolt all
around. Yes, the knuckle and brakes off a 2WD full size fit onto the
ball joints of a 2WD Dakota. (of course braking is a little more
agressive. I like :-) )

Current Dakota.

1989 Dakota sport 2WD, reg cab, 6 1/2 box
     3.9 V6, 3:90 rear(one legger), 235/75/R15.
     143,000 miles.

Thanks,
Jake
