Ned,

I received a catalog from J.C.Whitney specifically for pickups, not your typical
Whitney offering, it's full color and lists the name brands. I had not done
business with them in years but they have come into the 20 century witht there
phone ordering system (told what was in stock and what was not and how long it
would take to arrive). (I got some shock boots, a cab organizor to mount behind
the seat and some molded door racks)

Anyway they have a number of grill/brush guards listed;
Note B= Black, C= Chrome

. RAM Off Road Accessories - Grill with wrap around brush guard
                                                  B= $189.95 C= $279.95

. GRIZZLY Products - Aero Style Grill Guard, B= $ 189.95 C= $269.95
                     Aero Style with Brush Guard, B= $ 289.95 C= $439.95

. No Name Brand - 3" Cross Bar, B= $129.99 C= $249.99

. No Name Brand - Heavy Duty 2 1/2", B= $119.95 C= $199.95
                  with Brush Guard, B= $189.95 C= $299.95

My take is the GRIZZLY stuff is the classiest looking with the ovalized tubes
and and ventalized side plates. If nothing else it's worth giving them a call
and get the catalog (1-312-431-6102).
