Well I have a more info regarding the Mopar Expo 96 & NE Dodge Dealers Grand
Prix scheduled for Memorial Day weekend (May 24-27) at Lime Rock Park Rt 112
Lakeville CT.
NE Dodge Dealers Grand Prix:
Practice and qualifing are Friday and Saturday (5/24 & 5/25)
Racing is on Monday (5/27)
Classes are;
96 Dodge Neon Celebrity Challenge
96 Dodge Neon Super Cup
Exxon World Sports Car Series
SCCA Trans-Am Series,
Barber Dodge Pro-Series
IMSA GTS Series
SCCA World Challenge Series (Factory backed Stratus is entered)
Perfect opportunity to see some CC products road racing. For Ticket info call
1-800-RACE-LRP (Monday tickets are $35.00).
Mopar Expo 96:
Sunday May 26th from 9:00am to 5:00pm. General admission is $5.00 to enter a car
in the show Pre-1940 $5.00, Pre-1960 $10.00 and Post-1960 $15.00. If you have
stuff to sell it's $25.00 for unlimited space.
The schedule is as follows;
6:00am - Vendor gates open
8:00am - Auto Show gates open
9:00am - General Admission
12:00 noon - Show judging begins
3:30pm - Awards Ceremonies
5:00pm - Show Closes
7:00pm - Vendor Gates close

Note: The first 150 show pre-entries get two free tickets to the Grad Prix.
The SDAC-NE has identified this event as a club activity so there should be cars
to see for the FWD crowd.
I will be going down early sunday morning for the Expo and have reservations at
a near by Inn to stay over for the Monday racing. If anyone plans to go let me
know and with can make arrangements to meet. Also, if anyone is looking for a
copy of the Expo Flyer send me a FAX number and i will shoot you a copy.
