It is quite possible that the 180 may keep the engine in open loop and there is no real advantage to going with a 180 anyway.

Can I replace the 195 degree thermostat with a 180 degree thermostat and =
still have the computer function properly on a 95 3.9 liter Dakota? =
I've been told that a 180 degree unit will keep the computer in open =
loop all the time and affect driveability. Any advice?
