Larry,

Just thought I'd share following information that a little research has provided me. A phone call to Jules at Magnum Performance in Houston, Texas (713-354-7223) netted me the following information. First, a 180 degree thermostat should function adequately in the 3.9 without causing the computer to run in open loop. He also indicated that there were no valve covers available for the 95 3.9 other than the stock black ones. Also, he informed me that there was no performance computer module for this same engine. A phone call to Tom Matson Dodge in Seattle, Washington (800-282-7923) also netted the exact same information on the valve covers and the computer. I'm really getting frustrated with trying to make a good thing better. I realize that it was my mistake in not ordering the truck with the 318 V8 engine. I sometimes wish I'd never sold my Toyota 4X4. I would be deeply indebted to you if you could provide me a address and phone number to acquire some after market parts for the 3.9 (such as valve covers). Thank you so much.
