<Infinity speakers do have an amplifier built into them. It was for that
<reason that I didn't get the Infinity system when I bought my truck, since
<I was planning to upgrade the sound in the future.

Yeah, it's the Infinity system. The sound is actually pretty good, I just
wanted to change over to a CD system. I guess I'll look around for a stock
Infinity CD player, it's a drop-in replacement for the cassette unit.
I don't even want to guess how much $$$ the dealer wants for one.
