Oil Additives

I put Tribotech in my Dakota (V8, 4x4) prior to my trip to Montana, along
with Mobil 1 5W-30. As I found out later, my O2 sensor was inoperative for
the whole 3000 mile trip, fixed after my return - everythings right now,
and the oil's been changed.

Tribotech, like all the others, claims a permanent improvement in friction
reduction. Well, I haven't seen it. Average fuel economy is the same as
before my tranny work was done (and O2 sensor damaged).

Regular, frequent oil changes - use the money the additive costs to change
twice as often - that's the key to long engine life.

BTW, truck runs fine open-loop (w/o O2 signal). No great acceleration, but
fine for cruising. Almost like a Chevy truck!
Closed-loop is one hell of a lot more fun...
