Is there a source on the internet where we can get the TSB info from Dodge?
Specifically, I'm interested in these 2 that I found on the Dakota home page...
DEC 94 1. Pickup Box Tailgate Hard To Latch In Cold Temps.
NOV 94 4. A/C Evaporator Freeze-Up Or Lack Of Cooling
My Dakota is a 94v6s5 with 52k miles. Recently my A/C went south -- it just
blew hot air. I let a local mechanic recharge it and check for leaks. No
leaks found, 2 lbs low on refrigerant. It worked for a while... 2 days
later it stopped cooling again.
I took it back, and this time he told me the evaporator core was cracked,
and I needed to replace it for a mere $650. I recharged it myself instead.
After 3 weeks, it's still working. I have my fingers crossed...
My hope is that the TSB on the A/C might have shed some light. Has anyone
seen it?
As for the rear latch, that's been a problem since day one. I'm sure others
have run into that one. Will the dealer fix it for free??? :) Again, has
anyone seen the TSB on this one?
