My 95 had a 15 gallon tank and the sender was dead accurate, I switched it to
a 22 gallon tank but retained the 15 gallon sender unit in the 22 gallon
tank. Now it reads empty with 5 gallons in it.
I'd bet the 22 gallon tank has a 15 gallon sender in it.
Dodge does not incorporate a multi-gallon buffer. The manufacturer's intent
is to read fuel level accurately.
