Although 4x4 is seldom used around town, except when it occassionally
snows and/or is icy in the Seattle area (or it's raining and I want GOOD
traction), it's really handy on dirt roads while hunting, hauling firewood
or such. As my Dakota owning freind says, after you have a 4x4 you'll
never go back to 2WD.
