The problem is likely the steering wheel lock. This will be worse if
your wheel is turned when you park, because it will try to straighten
out a bit, and make it tough to unlock (It unlocks when you turn the key
to start, but not to accessory)
I started to see this when I moved, and my new parking spot caused me to
turn in rather than go straight. Several days of cussing later I
figured the problem out.
