CC is working on several new engines lines one of which is to replace the
existing 318/360. The 318 replacement will be less than 5.0 litres and will
have have overhead cams. Do not remember what the displacement of the larger
v8 will be but it will be of the same basic design. They also have several
new v6 engines coming along primarily for the FWD cars, I have no idea if
the new aluminum 3.5l v6 will find it's way into the Dakota.
