I ran the Splitfires on my 93 and noticed no difference. Since running the
HI-6,
gapping the plugs at .45, it doesn't seem to care what's in there. It would
ignite
your finger if given. Smaller cubic inch motors (in respects to
manufacturing) seem to respond best to ignition upgrades whereas larger power
producing V-6 and V-8's see lesser of a gain. I'm sure the Splitfires do help
in igniting the mix, giving you better
blah, blah, blah...but I'll never spend $5 each for them again, when I can
spend under $2 each for ND's.
