They'd have some irate '96 owners on their hands, namely you, me, and

Due to the addition of OBD-II in the 1996 model year cars and trucks, we
are unable to use the previous years SBEC or exhaust (with the exception
of Sam P, I believe he used a '95 model exhaust and modified it for the
extra O2 sensor to fit his '96. I've called the MP tech line a number of
times, and when I can get through, they usually hem and haw, and don't
give me a straight answer... usually something like "in the next couple
months"... grrr

The MP SBEC is not designed for towing, they recommend you use the stock
SBEC if you're going to be towing.

Keeping the stock SBEC is definitely your best bet. As far as towing with
a supercharger, I don't think that'd be a problem at all, maybe Kuk or
Jules would know for sure.

In a recent issue of Mopar Muscle, they had a red '92 or '93 Red Dakota
Sport, with a '70 AAR 'Cuda hood on it, as well as the rear valance panel
with the square dual exhaust cutouts... What a gorgeous truck!!

I think the extra cab windows are probably like 30% or 25%, so even if
you went with the 30% it wouldn't look funny at all... Once I can get
the truck clean again, I'll be snapping some new pictures, and would be
glad to send 'em on up to the FTP site...

I believe the holes for the fogs are sqaure and they are more or less
directly in line underneath the headlights? My truck has some cutouts
which are more inboard, but might be workable for an aftermarket set of
driving lights (PIAAs or something), but I don't believe I have the
factory cutouts.... I had thought about changing the air dam/chin
spoiler for the one with the cutouts, but I'll bet it's a fairly costly
item... I'll keep the list posted on what I end up deciding to do.

If I recall correctly, that switch was to the left and underneath the
steering column in a rather awkward place? (someone else had mentioned
that a while back)... I haven't seen any tab cutouts... Probably need
to drill somewhere (insert appropriate Tim Allen grunt)...

I think you're on target, as I remember debating whether I wanted them
when I was filling out the factory order sheet with the salesman...
$90.00 sounds right....

Ciao!
