Hey Kuk,
I have a fix in progress that may work in the long run or it may not.
I have a piece of velcro looped around the plastic stiffener (it has a
glue like backing, I loop it and stapel it just to make sure, glue
looses it at summer temps in the truck). The mating surface is attached
to the dogleg mount of the seat back (the steel part) which is looped
and stapeled. The mating surfaces come together after you put on your
belt and stay until you slide the seat forward or tilt the seat back to
get out yor tools or something. The plastic guide stays upright and
guides the belt back without binding. I'll give it a couple months to
see if it works long term.
