The valves shouldn't need anything done to them with hydraulic lifters.
My '92 had the plug wires go south at around 25K miles and the stock plugs
aren't good for the 30K miles the factory says. The only thing to do for
a tuneup is plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Unless your
distributor is/was misadjusted at the factory that shouldn't need to be
messed with. IMHO premium gas isn't needed with the stock SBEC, mine runs
fine with regular unleaded with the stock SBEC and only needs premium with
the MP SBEC.

I'd put Autolite platinum plugs, high quality plug wires (MSD Heli-Cores
on mine), and a new rotor and distributor cap on it. Make sure to route
the wires away from the valve covers, the edges are sharp and will rub
right thru a wire - personal experience with factory wires and routing.
