maddog;
A while back I posted a web site address that lists all of the OBD2 codes.
If you missed it, it was at www.sky.net/~boballen/dakota/OBD2.html.
anyway,
the codes are:
12 - Power lost to PCM during last 50 key-on cycles
(I have alot more than 50 key cycles and I still get this code!)
37 - this has many Subcodes. I'm not sure how to check the subcodes
but this is a list of the possibles:
Short or open condition in TC part throttle unlock solenoid
transmission temperature sensor: Voltage too low
transmission temperature sensor: Voltage too low
Park neutral switch not operating
No RPM change on torque converter lockup
Transmission Temperature Sensor: no rise after start
45 - this also has many Subcodes. I'm not sure how to check the subcodes
but this is a list of the possibles:
Transmission 3/4 overdrive solenoid circuit
Governor mid pressure not end tgt range(15-20psi)
Governor low pressure fault (Pressure > 3PSI when stopped)
Transmission 3/4 shift malfunction (no rpm drop after shift)
Governor pressure sensor voltage too low
Governor pressure sensor voltage too high
Governor pressure solenoid circuit
transmission 12V supply relay circuit
Overdrive switch pressed more than 5 minutes (Voltage low)
55 - End of Codes
Maybe due to the fact that there are many subcodes for 37, you have
multiple problems
Also I'm not sure how to interpret the codes based only on these titles
On that one, you are on your own. Hope this helps!
