All my SAABs have hydraulic clutches. There is no reason to replace it
if it is not leaking (either master or slave). It might be time to
bleed the system though - use brake fluid and bleed at the slave (clutch
housing) end.

If after you know you're getting the full stroke, and it still barely
disengages, it's time for a new clutch, or possibly of the throw-out
linkage, which can wear and introduce play.
