Nope, mine does not ping at all under any condition. We even
have the winter gas....

Mine is a 5 speed, and in town I get about 16 MPG, on the
highway I get around 22-23 MPG if I stay around 55 MPH. (VERY hard to
do...hehe) On the average the highest tankfull I got was 16.6 MPG.
