I'm sure K&N makes a _filter_, but not a _FIPK_ for the 96 and up.
since the thread in question stated that they were putting on an
edelbrock chrome air filter housing (if I remember correctly).
Besides, I don't really trust the sources at K&N that well.
They said (by telephone) their FIPK wouldn't work on the 96 Dak
(said 9 out of 10 times it would run worse, not better), but 'John'
of K&N responed by e-mail that they had "never tried it". Go Figure !
Anyhow - for those that have been following my story - I got the
FIPK from Karl for my 96 (THANKS!), and will be putting it on this weekend.
My shaker hood didn't work out - and I sold the hood, so am going
with the FIPK for now...
