My '41 Chevy has a vacuum assist 3 speed on the steering column,
a real 'rube goldberg' device if I've ever seen one, though it does
shift with one finger when adjusted right. Do like those old push
button shifting trannies. Ahhhh, the old days of automobiles! ;-}
