Jason,
I believe Hypertech and JET are working on 'chips' for the '97
Dakotas. I only inquired about the 5.2L so you may want to give each
a call and inquire about the V6.
As for running 13's with the V6....sounds like Jerry (as well as a few
others) could point you in the right direction. It won't be easy since
your're starting with a 55 hp disadvantage compared to the V8 but it's
not impossible. Hope this helped.

I'm 17 and just bought a 1997 Dakota Sport, V6, Reg. Cab. I would love
for my truck to run 13's. Is there a power chip for my truck yet??????
