Anyone who's tried to get some info from the dakota archives knows
that its a major PAIN. I've been meaning to do something about that
for a little while, but never really got around to it. Until today. :)
The DML archives are now avilable via the WWW. Check 'em out on
the DML Home Page:

I've broken them down by month, and you can sort by thread, subject,
date, and author. (I'm using the relatively widespread hypermail program
to do this. I had to hack it a little bit to make it a little more robust
but that didn't really change the functionality at all). The archive updates
are "realtime", with a slight delay due to processing overhead.
The archives are currently NOT searchable. I've downloaded some
softare that looks like it might do the trick, but I haven't had a chance
to play with it yet.
The entire archive is there, starting from day one. (Well, with the
possible exception of all those jadeinc.com unsubscribe messages and Kuk's
BMP files.) ;)
