Mud Accumulation in the Doors

Hey Folks;

A while back someone on the list was wondering how to stop the mud from
getting in the door sills and jams. (I think Steve) Well I have the
answer. I have a set of *RockerFlares* on my Explorer and the other day I
got a J.C. Whitney "Clearance" catalog in the mail, low-an-behold they were
selling out of these at $10 a set. I have the company's brochure where
they go for $90 to $110 a set. Anyway I order a set for an '89 and up
Ranger (need the 3" width to fit in between my sidesteps). Got them today
and already installed them they work fine, didn't even drill the cab, used
3M foam tape.

The company is CRE (Craig Rasmussen Enterprises
                        578 Bringhurst Dr.
                        Providence, Utah 84332 (1-800-234-3349)

I had their brochure so it was easy to look at what cross-section I would
need to fit with what I intended to do. Sorry I gave the catalog to a
friend and he has not returned it or I would give Whitney's inventory # and
page #. They have em for Ford, Dodge, Chevy and others 3", 4", 5" widths
depending on application.
