The 235/70's are pretty close to the 215/75's in terms of height. The first
number is the tires width in mm and the second number is the percentage of
the first number, this is the sidewall height.

215 x .75 = 161.25mm sidewall height
235 x .70 = 164.50mm sidewall height
255 x .70 = 178.50mm sidewall height

Of course this is not exact and does depend some on the width of your rims,
but it is a good rule of thumb.

I use 235/70's on 15x7 rims and they work great. (Dunlop GT Qualifiers).
