Mathmatical Formulas (was Re[2]: Tires -Reply -Reply)

I heard someone start mentioning some formulas and I want to clarify some
of them. <-- I'm a college engineering student with nothing better to do
than look up formulas :)

Circumference of a circle = 2*Pi*Radius or Pi*Diameter
Area of a circle = Pi*Radius*Radius or Pi*(Radius)^2
Volume of a sphere = (4/3)*Pi*(Radius)^3
Volume of a Cylinder = Pi*Height*(Radius)^2
Volume of a Cone = (1/3)*Pi*Height*(Radius)^2

Conversion factors (According to my nerdish calculator)
1 mm=0.03937007874 inch
1 Liter= 61.0237440947 cubic inches
1 N/(m^2) = 1.4503773773 x 10^-4 Psi = 0.007500616827 mmHg

Constants
Pi=3.14159265359
g (acceleration of gravity at sealevel)=9.80665 m/(s^2)

Most of these I got from my Dynamics Book, so they should be correct...

Anyway Hope this clears up some confusion.

Jeff
