I personally haven't done an open element filter conversion yet, gonna
in about two weeks. A few people on the list have used an open element
canister made by Edelbrock from Summit Racing. They also carry the filter for
the application. Summit has few different brands, Moroso and Summit Racing
version, the Edelbrock is around $20 and the filter is around $30. Hope this
helps.
