This can happen if you send a message to the list with a subject that
(even remotely) resembles a listserv command, like "help", "subscribe", etc.
The software filters these out to prevent those annoying "subscribe me"
"unsubscribe me", etc. requests from cluttering up the list. Unfortunately,
its a little too strict for my taste, but there's no way to change it.
