All (especially '97 owners):

The latest issue of Mopar Performance News contains a question (on
page 21) regarding the Magnum R/T kit for '97 Dakotas. The official
response is below:

"Currently, Mopar engineers are hard at work on a full line of
performance parts for your truck. The Magnum R/T kit will consist of
a low restriction air filter, high performance engine controller,
camshaft, headers and a cat-back exhaust. The 97 Magnum R/T kit is
due out later this year."

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!!!! :^)

The "Feature Products" section on pages 36 and 37 discusses the MP
headers for the '97 V8 auto 2wd. I'm guessing that the V8 5-spd 4wd
aren't too far behind. There is also a picture and description of
the MP cat-back exhaust. It's ready to go for the 97s!

The p/n for the headers ('97 V8 auto 2wd) is P4876258
The p/n for the cat-back ('97) is P4876253

I can't wait for the cam, SBEC and headers for my truck to hit the
market. I better start saving my pennies. :^)

I've also got some very cool ideas after reading the latest issue of
Mopar Muscle. Visions of intake manifolds are dancing in my head....

I think 300 honest horses shouldn't be too hard to achieve with my
truck. :^)
