<John,
< How many miles are on the truck at this time and also what color is
<it and the number of the truck and the price that you are asking for
it.
Dear, Mr. hunt
This Shelby Dakota I drive daily (for the past four years). There are
only 1500 of these trucks and mine is #1036. The shelby Dakota came only
in red or white (mine is red).
Since I have own my shelby, I have replaced the brake rotars and front
wheel bearing, the water pump, oil sending unit, new goodyear st
tires(3,000 miles now). Before selling I plan to replace the headliner,
shocks, complete tune up (wires,plugs,dist.,r-button,belts,hoses,air
cleaner), and detail inside and out. My shelby has 123,000+ miles but
90% are highway miles to work. I always change the oil at 3,000 miles of
less, and keep it well maintained. It really looks great!!!! The body
has no only one small rock dent in drivers side door and some small
scathes in the bed. I plan to replaces the decals also before selling
because there is a little wear on the existing edges.
The inside is in excellent shape because I have always keep everything
cover (floors/seats). The only fault is the headliner and a little wear
on the steering wheel and I plan to replace the head liner.
I had planned to restore my shelby. But with future family
enlargement I need more room I would love to sale to somebody who thinks
as much of shelby Dakotas as I do. That is why I want the Shelby in
a-1shape before selling.
I'm asking $10,000 for this rare shelby. This prices is one I saw in
sport truck mag. " if you can find one for under $10,000 it was a
steal"as quoted. I have only advertised on the web but plan to
advertise in publication with in the next month.
