well......i finally took all the ridges out......even made my way down into
where the throttle plates meet and all the way down.......polished it
all.......also took some off the throttle shatft......figured i could gain
some cfm at WOT there as the shaft is a good 1/4 inch thick......slapped it
on the truck (94 3.9) and fired it up......no rough idle and no
MIL......slapped the throttle a couple of times POP POP out the
intake.....shut it off......fired it back up did the same thing only no
backfire.........took it out on the street.....wailed on it from a dead
stop........my 275/60's said SCREECH and i took off......hit second
CHIRP........everything seemed cool......did it a couple of more times same
thing but no chirp in second,.......only drove it a few miles and took it
home and parked it.......tomorrow when i go to work i will beat the snot out
of it and hopefully by the time i get off we shall see.......so far so good
though.....
