Bill,
I thought it would be through the computer but not sure and don't have
access to a shop manual. There is a cable on the back side of the
throttle linkage that runs down to the tranny area. When another post
mentioned a stiff gas pedal that was traced to this cable, it got me to
thinking and I check out my own set up. The cable does not appear to be
adjustable at the throttle and I haven't had the chance to crawl
underneath and check at the transmission. Kieth mentioned his kicked
down to easily. That makes me think it is adjustable some way. Wanted
a little more education before I just started trial and error.

Anyone have a 97 service manual and info on this cable?

Thanks,

Gary Atkinson, 97 CC, sport "wisper v6"
